An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Thessaloniki. Third rankedPAOK faced second-ranked Maroussi . Host PAOK (11-16) defeated guests from Athens (10-17) 77-62 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Maroussi. It was a key game for the second position in the league. PAOK dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Maroussi 's 24. They outrebounded Maroussi 49-34 including 34 on the defensive glass. Maroussi was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American swingman Kevin Porter Jr (193-2000, college: USC) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists and 6 steals. His fellow American import center Jamuni McNeace (208-1996, college: Oklahoma) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Serbian center Miroslav Raduljica (213-1988) answered with 18 points and the former international forward Charis Giannopoulos (206-1989) added 12 points in the effort for Maroussi. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. PAOK moved-up to second place. Newly promoted Maroussi dropped to the third position with 17 games lost. They share it with Lavrio and Karditsas.
