Semi-Finals Game 3: GAU - Kutaisi 90-92

The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter37-29 . But GAU won second period 24-19 . However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Kutaisi won last quarter 16-15 . Kutaisi outrebounded GAU 41-28 including 27 on the defensive glass. 29 personal fouls committed by GAU helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for American point guard Detrek Browning (183, college: FMU, agency: Hoopsman Services) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international Akaki Dvalishvili (207-1991) helped adding 16 points and 7 rebounds. Kutaisi's coach Kote Tugushi used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American guard Tavis Smith (191-1999, college: Belm.Abbey) with 27 points and 5 assists and the other American import Isiah Small (202-1998, college: Texas St.) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Four Kutaisi and five GAU players scored in double figures.
