GTK Gdynia claimed 1Liga title. They came from behind in the second half to tame Wisla Krakow in the decisive third game of the championship series. The hosts trailed by 9 points after three quarters before their 28-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game.GTK Gdynia made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. They also forced 28 Wisla Krakow turnovers. It was a great evening for swingman Karolina Ulan (185-2005) who led her team to a victory scoring 23 points and 5 steals. Point guard Nikola Tomasik (170-2005, agency: AB Agency) helped adding 6 points and 5 rebounds. GTK Gdynia's coach Anna Talarczyk used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was point guard Martyna Jasiulewicz (173-1998) with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and Martyna Stasiuk (178-1989) scored 16 points and 5 assists.
