Gornik dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Enea Astoria's 24 and made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Enea Astoria 44-32 including 31 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was the former international center Piotr Niedzwiedzki (211-1993) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds. American David Jackson (192-1986, college: W.Illinois) chipped in 21 points. Swingman Filip Malgorzaciak (192-1993) produced 13 points and 4 assists and forward Szymon Kiwilsza (201-1997) added 7 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
