Scrivia outrebounded Valdarno 44-23 including a 19-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Scrivia players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Croatian Nina Premasunac (187-1992) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side and international point guard Beatrice Attura (170-1994, college: NSU) accounted for 17 points and 6 assists. Four Scrivia players scored in double figures. Scrivia's coach Orazio Cutugno felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Meriem Nasraoui (184-2002) came up with 21 points and forward Maria Lazzaro (178-1996) added 5 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Valdarno in the defeat.
