The best player for the winners was the former international forward Jakub Niziol (201-1996, college: Cal Poly) who scored 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Swingman Daniel Golebiowski (195-1998) chipped in 13 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Paul Scruggs (190-1998, college: Xavier) who recorded 9 points and 7 rebounds and international center Geoffrey Groselle (213-1993, college: Creighton) added 8 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
