Valur clinched Dominos League title. They held off Grindavik in the Finals decider. Valur outrebounded Grindavik 51-36 including 17 on the offensive glass. Irish-British forward Taiwo Badmus (200-1993, college: UVA Wise) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 14 rebounds. The international swingman Kristinn Palsson (198-1997, college: Marist) contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Hungarian-American swingman DeAndre Kane (195-1989, college: Iowa St.) answered with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and American point guard Dedrick Basile (178-1994, college: CSUB) added 16 points and 7 assists in the effort for Grindavik. Four Grindavik players scored in double figures.
