Maccabi Tel-Aviv repeated as Winner League champions. They overcame Hapoel Tel-Aviv in the decisive third game of the Finals to defend the title. Hapoel Tel-Aviv was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 28-19 charge of Maccabi Tel-Aviv, which allowed them to win the game.M.Tel-Aviv outrebounded H.Tel-Aviv 46-25 including a 27-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. M.Tel-Aviv looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for the former international power forward Roman Sorkin (210-1996, college: Oregon) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 9 rebounds. Cuban power forward Jasiel Rivero (206-1993, agency: Pro Sports) helped adding 16 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Maccabi Tel-Aviv's coach Oded Kattash used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was the former international Tomer Ginat (202-1994, agency: Avi Zilberman) with 15 points and 5 rebounds and Canadian point guard Tyler Ennis (188-1994, college: Syracuse) scored 17 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
