Rustavi conquered the trophy. They held off Hyundai to become the U18 champions. Rustavi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter.Rustavi outrebounded Hyundai 61-42 including a 27-13 advantage in offensive rebounds. Rustavi looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Rustavi made 8 blocks. Forward Giorgi Jangveladze (200-2006) had a double-double by scoring 10 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Timofey Aleksandrovi (193-2006) chipped in 10 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Forward Luka Dolbadze (190-2007) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds and center Bachana Shvelidze (208-2006) scored 15 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots). Five Rustavi and four Hyundai players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
