Regular Season Round 2: Ruzomberok - UBI Graz 70-43
Date: September 28, 2024
No shocking result in a game when SlovakianMBK crushed Austrian UBI Graz in Ruzomberok 70-43 on Saturday. Ruzomberok forced 34 UBI Graz turnovers and outrebounded them 86-70 including a 54-43 advantage in defensive rebounds. Ruzomberok shot the lights out from three sinking 24 long-distance shots on high 64.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by UBI Graz 's players. Kamila Jarosova (176-2003) notched 16 points to lead the effort and Ukrainian forward Olha Yatskovets (188-1997, agency: LBM Management) supported her with 12 points and 7 rebounds. Even 9 points and 7 rebounds by forward Simone Sill (182-1999) did not help to save the game for UBI Graz . Guard Rebekka Kalaydjiev (172-1999, college: Southeastern) added 6 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. MBK will meet at home Slavia in the next round. UBI Graz will play against Brandys n. L. and hope to win that game.
