Regular Season Round 4: SISU - Amager 55-48

Bottom-rankedAmager (0-4) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their fourth consecutive match to third ranked SISU (3-1) 55-48 on Sunday evening. SISU held Amager to an opponent 19.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 29.3 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Amager 57-44 including 20 on the offensive glass. Power forward Josefine Haabegaard (180-1999) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Power forward Helene Dalsgaard (187-1999) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks. The former international forward Ellen Iversen (180-1997) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds (made all of her fourteen free throws !!!) and guard Julie Moller (168-2006) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. SISU moved-up to second place, which they share with Aabyhoj. Loser Amager still closes the standings with four games lost.
