Regular Season Round 2: Kangoeroes - Sassari 60-76

The game between closely ranked teams ended with Italian Sassari's road victory over Belgian Kangoeroes 76-60 on Thursday. The best player for the winners was American guard Sparkle Taylor (178-1995, college: UTEP) who scored 24 points and 8 rebounds. Croatian forward Ana-Marija Begic (190-1994) chipped in 7 points and 13 rebounds. Four Sassari players scored in double figures. American forward Cate Reese (188, college: Arizona) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 24 rebounds and forward Annie Kibedi (185-2008) added 8 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Sassari will meet at home Sosnowiec in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kangoeroes will play against TTT Riga and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
