We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 9th rankedOstrava (1-4) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Olomouc Bbal (1-4) 90-74 on Friday. Olomouc Bbal outrebounded Ostrava 46-35 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was forward Jan Grmolensky (195-2004) who scored 25 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Matej Rous (197) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 19 rebounds. Guard Lukas Smazak (188-2007) produced 19 points and 4 steals and forward Adam Urbanek (196-1993) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five Olomouc Bbal and four Ostrava players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Olomouc Bbal left bottom position moving up to eighth place, which they share with Ostrava and Vysoka. It was Ostrava 's third loss in a row.
