Regular Season Round 4: ViVe - FoA 90-70

Vimpelin Veto has registered their first victory this season after three consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Forssan Alku (0-4) 90-70 on Saturday. ViVe forced 20 FoA turnovers and outrebounded them 39-27 including 25 on the defensive glass. ViVe looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American swingman Audrey Warren (180-1999, college: Georgia) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Australian center Alexus Harrison (186-1995) chipped in 8 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals. Guard Nenna Lindstrom (166-1998, college: Liberty) produced 18 points and 5 rebounds and guard Johanna Timperi (173-1998) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Vimpelin Veto (1-3) left bottom position moving up to seventh place, which they share with HBA-Marsky. It was FoA's fourth loss in a row. They still close the standings with four games lost. They share the position with BC Nokia. ViVe will meet at home higher ranked Pyrinto (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. FoA will play against BC Nokia (#9) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
