Regular Season Round 3: E.Ramla - Gdynia 82-79

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Polish Gdynia (3-1) on the court of Israeli E.Ramla on Tuesday night. Visitors were edged by E.Ramla 82-79. It was a great evening for American swingman Alexis Prince (188-1994, college: Baylor) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Her fellow American import guard Jennie Simms (183-1994, college: ODU) helped adding 13 points and 10 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American forward Ruthy Hebard (192-1998, college: Oregon) with 15 points and 7 rebounds and Slovakian guard Barbora Wrzesinski (178-1994) scored 16 points. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. E.Ramla will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Gdynia will play against ALBA Berlin and hope to secure a win.
