Regular Season Round 8: BC Minsk - Brest 114-28

Premier League top team -BC Minsk (7-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked Brest (2-5) 114-28 . BC Minsk held Brest to an opponent 19.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 52.9 percent accuracy of the winners. BC Minsk forced 40 Brest turnovers and outrebounded them 47-31 including 19 on the offensive glass. BC Minsk players were unselfish on offense dishing 37 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Brest 's players. The winners were led by American guard Keira Robinson (170-1994, college: VCU, agency: LBM Management) who had that evening a triple-double by scoring 15 points, 15 assists and 12 steals and point guard Anastasia Kazakova (170-2004) supported her with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Five BC Minsk players scored in double figures. Even 5 points and 6 rebounds by forward Ektarina Shako (180-2007) did not help to save the game for Brest . Forward Anastasia Sharko (179-2002) added 7 points for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. BC Minsk have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 7-0 record. Brest lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with five games lost.
