The most surprising game was the first loss ofHaukar (3-1) in Hafnarfjordur on Wednesday night. Hosts were rolled over by eighth ranked Njardvik (2-2) 79-57 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Haukar. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Njardvik looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Cambodian point guard Brittany Dinkins (170-1994) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 30 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists and Danish power forward Emilie Hesseldal (185-1990, college: Colorado St.) who added 15 points, 16 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals during the contest. At the losing side Belgian forward Lore Devos (185-1999, college: Colorado St., agency: LBM Management) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 7 steals and international forward Thora Jonsdottir (173-1997) scored 5 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Njardvik moved-up to third place, which they share with 5 other teams. Haukar at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. They share it with Keflavik.
