Very expected game when bottom-rankedKTP-Basket (0-6) lost to fourth ranked Kataja (5-1) in Joensuu 94-107 on Saturday. Kataja made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Kataja looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The former international center Hannes Polla (211-1998, college: UT Martin) notched 24 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and American guard Zaccheus Darko-Kelly (198-1997, college: Providence, MT) supported him with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Even a double-double of 19 points and 13 assists by American point guard Tavon King (180-1997, college: Cumberland) did not help to save the game for KTP-Basket . His fellow American import guard Alijah Comithier (201-2001, college: Emporia St.) added 22 points and 8 rebounds. Five Kataja and four KTP-Basket players scored in double figures. Kataja have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Karhubasket. Loser KTP-Basket still closes the standings with six games lost.
