The game had a very big importance for second-rankedRagusa as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Ragusa defeated bottom-ranked Medvescak in Dubrovnik 69-53 . Ragusa forced 21 Medvescak turnovers and outrebounded them 41-30 including a 37-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international forward Iva Todoric (174-1993) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Naturalized Serbian Nevena Vuckovic (177-1998) contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Ragusa players scored in double figures. Ragusa's coach Simona Soda used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Ivana Mamic (162-2003) answered with 20 points and 4 steals and guard Katarina Sekulic (175-2004) added 7 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Medvescak. Ragusa (5-0) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Tresnjevka. Medvescak at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. They share the position with Brod na Savi.
