They followed with a strong 40-23 rally in the second half to ice the victory. Alexia Lagunas tallied 18 points, while Mariana Valenzuela added 16 points and 20 rebounds for the champions. Hillary Martinez responded with 22 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists for El Salvador.
