Inkina comes back to Gorizont, ex Runa

Yanina Inkina

BK Gorizont Minsk (Premier League) added to their roster 27-year old Belarusian international forward Yanina Inkina (186cm-1997, college: UALR, agency: Tolakh Tsimur). It is actually her comeback to Minsk as she has played here before. She has played for the last two seasons at Runa in Russian Superleague 2. In 30 Superleague 1 games she recorded 7.7ppg, 2.3rpg and 1.2apg last season. She helped them to win the Superleague 1 title.
Inkina has been also a member of the Belarusian international program for some years. She has regularly played for the Belarusian senior team since 2016 and previously for the Under 18 National Team in 2015.
Inkina also represented Belarus at the European Championship (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 Division B in Eliat (Israel) seven years ago. During this event she scored an average of 1.7 points per game and had rebounds per game.
Among many awards she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-European Championship (FIBA EuroBasket) U18 Division B Honorable Mention back in 2015.
She graduated from University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2019 and it will be her sixth season as a professional player. Inkina played also for South Plains College for one year.
