Mons-Hainaut won its first prize ever in the history of the club by beating Charleroi on Easter Monday in the Belgian Cup Finals. Played before a sold out Sport Plaza in Leuven Mons denied Charleroi a chance to win its 5th Belgian Cup. Big man in the finals was Mons guard Omar Cook (186-G-82, college: St.John's) who scored 23 pts and had 7 assists.
