Randers wins First Division title - Apr 26, 2012

2011/12 season in Danish First Division for men is over. Randers won the title with perfect 2-0 in the Finals. They registered 69-55 home win against Virum in Game One, which was played last Saturday. It was best-of-three series and Randers cruised past Virum in the second game (Wednesday) 73-84 to grab the trophy. It was a road win for Randers. Both teams will compete next season in Ligaen.
Randers was the regular season champion in First Division with 19-3 record. They eliminated Glostrup in the Quarterfinals with perfect 2-0. Later Randers edged Koge BK with 2-0 in the Semis. Finalist Virum was No.3 in the regular season and later eliminated Aarhus BF and Lemvig.
