Mali Forward Ouwa Camara (203-F-2008) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for top-ranked CBI Elche Academy U17 team, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 16-year old player had a double-double of 31 points and 14 rebounds, while his team outclassed Borgomanero (#6, 1-3) with 70-point margin 120-50. It allowed Elche to consolidate first place in the EYBL U17. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Elche already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. Camara turned to be Elche's top player in his first season with the team. Ouwa Camara has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 21.5ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 13.5rpg) and averages impressive 70.9% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was Vojtech Krecek of BK VIVIDBOOKS Pardubice U17 team. Krecek had a very good evening with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course he led Pardubice to another comfortable win outscoring Elite Euro (0-4) 81-53. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Krecek is a newcomer at Pardubice and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third on the list of top players last round was Tabe Haver of Hot Pepper Heat Amsterdam (#5). Haver scored 12 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). Despite Haver's great performance the Hot Pepper Heat lost 75-80 to Lanciano (#3, 3-1). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Hot Pepper Heat needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 2 victories and 2 lost games. Haver has a great season in EYBL U17. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.5rpg (7th best).

4. Stepan Horak) of Pardubice - 15 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
