Traore's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

15-year old Mali center Abdoulaye Traore (205-C-2009) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team Lettera 22 Ivrea U16 team and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
He had a double-double of 29 points and 10 rebounds, while his team outclassed MAFC (#6, 1-2) with 33-point margin 85-52. It allowed Ivrea to consolidate first place in the EYBL U16. The season is still on an early stage, but Ivrea already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. Traore turned to be Ivrea's top player in his first season with the team. Traore has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 22.0ppg), rebounds (7th best: 9.8rpg) and averages solid 1.5bpg and 88.4% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Viktor Prus (194-F-2009) of Oppsal Panthers Oslo U16 team. He is a forward in his first season at Oppsal. In the last game Prus recorded an impressive double-double of 24 points and 16 rebounds. Of course he led Oppsal to another comfortable win outscoring Talata (0-3) 63-41. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Prus is a newcomer at Oppsal and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.5ppg (#5). He also registered 12.5 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Leo Muller (193-F-2009) of UBSC-Juniors Graz U16 team (#3). Muller scored 28 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. He was a key player of UBSC Graz, leading his team to a 82-62 easy win against Oppsal (#8, 1-3). UBSC Graz needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 1 lost game. Muller has a great season in EYBL U16. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 28.3ppg (best scorer) and rebounds with 12.7rpg (#1 in league).
