EYBL U16 round 3 best performance: Leo Muller

Forward Leo Muller (193-F-2009) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for UBSC-Juniors Graz U16 team, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 15-year old player had a double-double of 32 points and 18 rebounds, while his team beat Stellazzurra (#5, 2-2) 83-71. Thanks to this victory UBSC Graz moved-up to the 3rd position in EYBL U16. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. UBSC Graz will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. In the team's last game Muller had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be UBSC Graz's top player in his first season with the team. Leo Muller has solid league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 26.0ppg. Muller is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 12.3rpg) and averages impressive 2.5spg and 54.8% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was Aron Tolgyesi of MAFC Budapest U16 team. Tolgyesi had a very good evening with a double-double of 25 points and 14 rebounds. Of course he led MAFC to another comfortable win 78-59 over Crew Napoli (1-3) being unquestionably team leader. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Tolgyesi is well-known at MAFC and is a proven leader in his second season with the team. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.0ppg (#6). He also registered 8.0 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Mali center Abdoulaye Traore (205-C-2009) of league's top team Lettera 22 Ivrea U16 team. Traore scored 16 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. He was a key player of Ivrea, leading his team to a 91-38 easy win against #4 ranked Stiinta in a game of the week. Ivrea started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game. Traore turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Traore has a great season in EYBL U16. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.0ppg (2nd best) and rebounds with 9.8rpg (7th best).
