Talented Oscar Bunner (204-F-2008) had an amazing evening in the last round for RIG Haga Norrkoping U20 team and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 1.
The 16-year old forward had a double-double of 17 points and 12 rebounds, while his team outclassed Bologna (#7, 1-3) with 40-point margin 98-58. RIG Haga maintains the 4th position in EYBL U20 . RIG Haga is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-2 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Bunner as usually he does not deliver so high stats.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Francesco Rosso of IBA Bologna U20 team. Rosso impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 17 points and 30 rebounds. Bad luck as Bologna was edged by DSN (3-0) 69-65. The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Rosso is a newcomer at Bologna and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Roberts Ciganskis (197-F-2006) of top-ranked Marupe SC U19 team. Ciganskis scored 24 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. He was a key player of Marupe, leading his team to a 114-58 easy win against Bologna (#7, 1-3). Marupe started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game. Ciganskis turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Ciganskis has a great season in EYBL U20. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.7ppg (best scorer) and rebounds with 7.7rpg (7th best).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
