Theodor Marin claims EYBL U20 weekly honour

Theodor Marin had a great game in the last round for Atom Basketball Bucarest U20 team and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The had a double-double of 25 points and 11 rebounds, while his team crushed Basket Beats (#29, 1-5) with 18-point margin 83-65. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Atom is placed at 18th position in EYBL U20. Atom is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-2 record. In the team's last game Marin had a remarkable 69.2% from 2-point range. He turned to be Atom's top player in his first season with the team. Marin has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in assists (7th best: 4.7apg).

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young swingman Martin Minarovjech (201-F/G-2007) of league's best team Inter Bratislava. Minarovjech impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 11 points and 15 rebounds. Of course he led Inter Bratislava to another comfortable win 81-66 over Basket Brno (#10, 0-1) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Inter Bratislava to move up to 1st position in the standings. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won their first game. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Minarovjech is well-known by Inter Bratislava fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Georgian Nikoloz Berdzenishvili (206-C-2005) of Basket Beats Budapest U20 team (#29). Berdzenishvili scored 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). Despite Berdzenishvili's great performance the Basket Beats lost 65-83 to the higher-ranked Atom (#18, 1-2). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Basket Beats can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-5 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Berdzenishvili has a very solid season. In 5 games in EYBL U20 he scored 11.6ppg.

10. Jamaul Mcallister (175-G-2008) of Holy Trinity - 12 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists
