Daniel Makasa claims EYBL U16 Hoops Agents weekly honour

Daniel Makasa put on an amazing game in the last round for league's leader Leii Bucharest U16 team and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The had a double-double of 18 points and 26 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team London Elite (#6, 0-4) with 65-point margin 87-22. It allowed Leii to consolidate first place in the EYBL U16. Leii have a solid 7-1 record. Makasa turned to be Leii's top player in his first season with the team. Makasa has impressive league stats. He leads league in rebounds with 17.8rpg. Makasa is in league's top in and averages solid 3.6bpg and 58.7% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Kracher Charles of Akademie Grand Est Nancy U16 team. Charles impressed basketball fans with 28 points and 8 rebounds. Of course he led Grand Est to another comfortable win outscoring the higher-ranked Budapest Blue (#4, 2-2) 100-58. Grand Est's 23th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 3-1 record is not bad and everything may still change. Charles is a newcomer at Grand Est and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 29.3ppg (#2). He also registered 7.8 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was another Leii's star - Andrei Cozan (2009). Cozan got into 30-points club by scoring 38 points in the last round. He went also for six rebounds and six assists. He was another key player of ABC Leii Bucuresti, helping his team with a 79-48 easy win against the lower-ranked CSKA (#13, 3-1). Cozan has a great season in EYBL U16. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 5.4apg (2nd best). He also has 4.6spg and a FGP of 52.2%.

9. Mihail Minchev) of CSKA - 22 points and 7 rebounds
10. Mark Mocsar) of Budapest Blue - 17 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
