EYBL U17 round 16 best performance: Kelvin Talbot (by Hoops Agents)

Kelvin Talbot had an amazing evening in the last round for Sheffield Elite London U20 team, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 16.
The player had a double-double of 24 points and 22 rebounds, while his team beat DLang (#1, 0-0), the league's bottom-ranked team 86-76. Sheffield is placed at 37th position in EYBL U17. Sheffield is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-2 record. Talbot turned to be Sheffield's top player in his first season with the team. Kelvin Talbot has solid league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 13.0rpg) and averages impressive 2.0bpg,2.3spg and 56.3% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was Kristiyan Zanov of BUBA Basketball Sofia U17 team. Zanov had a very good evening with a double-double of 25 points and 19 rebounds. Bad luck as BUBA was edged by league's leader Beko (#2, 4-0) 89-86. This loss caused BUBA to drop to 31th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 2-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. Zanov is a newcomer at BUBA, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Andrej Noveski of BC Vodno Suns Partizan Skopje U17 team (#22). Noveski showcased his all-around game by recording 28 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Vodno Skopje, leading his team to a 96-61 easy win against the lower-ranked Istanbul (#52, 1-3). Vodno Skopje needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 1 lost game. Noveski has a very solid season. In 4 games in EYBL U17 he scored 21.3ppg.
