Theodor Colomei claims EYBL U17 weekly honour

Theodor Colomei put on an amazing game in the last round for Atom Basketball Bucarest U17 team and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 17.
The had the game-high 33 points adding eight rebounds and two assists for Atom as his team lost the game against Istanbul (#52, 1-3) 62-87. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Atom moved-up to the 66th position in EYBL U17. They are still not able to win a single game in the league yet. The season is still in it's early stage, so the team may have a chance to improve their current position in the standings. They lost 4 games and had no victories. Colomei turned to be Atom's top player in his first season with the team. Theodor Colomei averages this season 12.8ppg and 8.0rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Milos Krsmanovic (2008) of second-ranked KK Beko Beograd. Krsmanovic impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds. It was enough for Beko to edge the lower-ranked Andu Sibiu (#43, 1-2) by 4 points 81-77. This victory allowed Beko to move up to second position in the standings. A very good start of the season for his team, which won so far all 4 games without any defeat. Krsmanovic is a newcomer at Beko and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Marko Popovic (200-F-2009) of SC Derby Podgorica (#10). Popovic showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Derby, leading his team to a 80-66 easy win against the lower-ranked Vodno Skopje (#22, 3-1). Derby started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game. Popovic turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Popovic has a very solid season. In 4 games in EYBL U17 he scored 22.3ppg.

10. Poyraz Narter) of Istanbul - 22 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
