Ozers' 27 points and 8 rebounds give him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

16-year old guard Krists Ozers (192-G-2008) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Bertanu Valmieras Basketbola skola and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 23.
He had the game-high 27 points adding eight rebounds and two assists for BVBS in his team's victory, helping them to crush Honka (#36, 3-5) with 25-point margin 85-60. Bertanu is placed at 3rd position in EYBL U17. They are still close to the very top. Bertanu would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 7-1 record. In the team's last game Ozers had a remarkable 61.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be Bertanu's top player in his first season with the team.

Second best performed player last round was Nils Krastins. He is a in his first season at BVBS. In the last game Krastins recorded an impressive 34 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. It was enough for Bertanu Valmieras Basketbola skola to edge the lower-ranked Keila (#9, 5-3) by 2 points 78-76. This victory allowed Bertanu to move up to 3rd position in the standings. His team lost just one game this season, while they won 7 matches. Krastins is a newcomer at Bertanu and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another BVBS's star - Ralfs Murnieks. Murnieks showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. He was another key player of BVBS Valmeira U17 team, helping his team with a 80-52 easy win against the lower-ranked Myerscough (#33, 3-5). BVBS is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 7-1 record is not that bad... Murnieks has a very solid season. In 8 games in EYBL U17 he scored 14.8ppg. He also has 4.8rpg, 3.3apg and a FGP of 61.5%.
