EYBL U16 round 15 best performance: Agoston Nagy

Agoston Nagy had a very impressive game in the last round for top-ranked Budapest Honved U16 team, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
The player had a double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Minsk Maz. (#29, 4-4) 102-91. Thanks to this victory Honved moved-up to the 1st position in EYBL U16. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Honved has a very solid 3-1 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Nagy had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Honved and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Agoston Nagy has solid league stats. He is in league's top in assists (8th best: 4.4apg) and averages impressive 3.5spg and 59.4% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was Marko Solev of International Basketball Academy Skopje U17 team. Solev had a very good evening with a double-double of 22 points and 16 rebounds. Of course IBA Skopje cruised to a 64-52 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Budva (#84, 2-6). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. IBA Skopje dropped in the standings to 80th position. His team lost just one game this season, while they won 7 matches. Solev is a newcomer at IBA Skopje, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Ada Kirik of league's second-best Titan Academy Istanbul U16 team. Kirik scored 28 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Despite Kirik's great performance the Titan lost 70-79 to the lower-ranked Vardar (#81, 6-2). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Titan needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 2 victories and 2 lost games. Kirik has a very solid season. In 4 games in EYBL U16 he scored 17.3ppg.
