EYBL U17 round 27 best performance: Kelvin Talbot (by Hoops Agents)

Kelvin Talbot put on an amazing game in the last round for Sheffield Elite London U20 team, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 27.
The player had a double-double of 27 points and 24 rebounds, while his team in a lost game to Svincolati (#44, 7-1) 88-89. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Sheffield moved-up to the 46th position in EYBL U17. Sheffield is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 4th lost game this season out of 8 games. Talbot turned to be Sheffield's top player in his first season with the team. Kelvin Talbot averages this season 17.8ppg and 11.9rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was Arnaud Bazu of DLang Academy Lausanne U17 team. Bazu had a very good evening with a double-double of 24 points and 13 rebounds. It was enough for DLang to edge the higher-ranked Vis Basket (#1, 1-3) 83-79. Despite this victory DLang slide down in the standings to 47th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-5 record. Bazu is a newcomer at DLang, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was guard Gabrielius Peciulis (190-G-2008) of Plunges Olimpas (#53). Peciulis showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, 14 rebounds (!!!) and 10 assists (!!!) in the last round. Despite Peciulis' great performance the P.Olimpas lost 79-85 to slightly higher-ranked Valur (#51, 7-1). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Peciulis has a great season in EYBL U17. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 30.0ppg (best scorer), rebounds with 12.6rpg (5th best) and assists with 6.6apg (6th best). He also has 2.3spg and a FGP of 59.8%.

10. Adomas Makaraitis) of VKM 2 - 15 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
