Talented Norberts Aizbalts (2008) had an amazing evening in the last round for RBS Centrs U19 team and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 31.
The 16-year old had a double-double of 37 points and 18 rebounds, while his team beat Kutaisi (#36, 4-4) 79-68. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. RBS Centrs is placed at 10th position in EYBL U17. They are still close to the very top. RBS Centrs would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 7-1 record. In the team's last game Aizbalts had a remarkable 83.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be RBS Centrs's top player in his first season with the team. Aizbalts has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 12.4rpg) and averages solid 68.3% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Sandro Managadze (193-F -2007) of BC Kutaisi U18 team. Managadze impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 30 points and 17 rebounds. Of course he led Kutaisi to another comfortable win 87-74 over the higher-ranked Basketbola Klase (#17, 6-2) being unquestionably team leader. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Kutaisi dropped in the standings to 36th position. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 4-4 record is not bad and everything may still change. Managadze is one of the most experienced players at Kutaisi and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Ali Tokgoz (185-G-2008) of second-ranked Turun NMKY. Tokgoz scored 20 points and grabbed 21 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of TuNMKY, leading his team to a 88-82 win against the lower-ranked Kekava (#75, 1-7). TuNMKY needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 10 victories and 6 lost games. Tokgoz has a great season in EYBL U17. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 12.6rpg (5th best).

10. Matiss Lacis (2008) of Sigulda - 24 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists
