Veermae's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Mauro Veermae put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team BC Tartu U17 team and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
He had a double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds, while his team outclassed Orissaare (#15, 6-9) with 37-point margin 91-54. It allowed Tartu to consolidate first place in the BBBL. Tartu have a solid 12-2 record. Veermae turned to be Tartu's top player in his first season with the team. Mauro Veermae averages this season 15.8ppg and 11.0rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Hendrik Voiter of KK Viimsi U16 team. He is a in his first season at Viimsi. In the last game Voiter recorded an impressive 34 points and 6 rebounds. Of course Viimsi cruised to a 61-52 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Basketbola klase (#17, 5-10). This victory allowed Viimsi to move up to 8th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 7-3 record is not bad and everything may still change. Voiter is a newcomer at Viimsi and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to Marks Supe of A.Kraukla/VEF Riga U16 team (#12). Supe got into 30-points club by scoring 38 points in the last round. Despite Supe's great performance the A.Kraukla/VEF lost 66-87 to the lower-ranked Silverstars (#18, 4-0). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing A.Kraukla/VEF needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 6 victories and 4 lost games. Supe has a great season in BBBL. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.6ppg (best scorer) and assists with 5.6apg (3rd best). He also has 2.6spg and a FGP of 71.9%.
