Aike Dzacar claims EYBL U16 Hoops Agents weekly honour

Slovakian Aike Dzacar (SF) put on an amazing game in the last round for Crew BBall Napoli U16 team and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The had a double-double of 38 points and 10 rebounds, while his team beat Grantorino (#16, 2-2) 85-75. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Thanks to this victory Crew Napoli moved-up to the 15th position in EYBL U16. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Crew Napoli will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. Dzacar turned to be Crew Napoli's top player in his first season with the team. Dzacar has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (3rd best: 22.7ppg), rebounds (4th best: 12.7rpg) and averages solid 67.6% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Brice Pounouko of Unibasket Lanciano U16 team. Pounouko impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 34 points and 27 rebounds. Bad luck as Lanciano lost that game 75-83 to HNMKY (4-0). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Pounouko is a newcomer at Lanciano and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Jon Sigurdarson (202-F-2010) of second-ranked Stjarnan. Sigurdarson scored 22 points and grabbed 20 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Stjarnan, leading his team to a 79-44 easy win against #1 ranked VKM in a game of the week. Stjarnan started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game. Sigurdarson turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Sigurdarson has a great season in EYBL U16. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 15.3rpg (2nd best).

10. Emils Hauka) of BS Ogre - 22 points, 15 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
