Sandro Kand claims BBBL Hoops Agents weekly honour

Sandro Kand put on an amazing game in the last round for Tbilisi Basket U16 team and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The had the game-high 33 points adding six rebounds and three assists for Tbilisi in his team's victory, helping them to beat Noo Spordikool (#24, 0-5), the league's bottom-ranked team 72-64. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Thanks to this victory Tbilisi moved-up to the 22th position in BBBL. Tbilisi is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-3 record. In the team's last game Kand had a remarkable 84.6% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Tbilisi's top player in his first season with the team. Kand has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (5th best: 17.2ppg), assists (8th best: 3.0apg) and averages solid 62.8% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Rytis Gedgaudas of Nacionaline Krespinio Akademija 3 2010 U. Gedgaudas impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds. Of course NKA-3 cruised to a 76-67 relatively comfortable win over Bertans (3-2). A very good start of the season for his team, which won so far all 5 games without any defeat. Gedgaudas is a newcomer at NKA-3 and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Kirill Ermakov (180-G-2010) of Keila Korvpallikool (#6). Ermakov got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for six rebounds and four assists. He was a key player of Keila KK, leading his team to a 69-58 win against Bball klase-2 (#10, 2-3). Keila KK is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 4-1 record is not that bad... Ermakov has a great season in BBBL. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 24.3ppg (best scorer).

10. Marten Miilen (183-G-2010) of Tartu - 20 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists
