Aaron Ekwere claims EYBL U20 Hoops Agents weekly honour

Talented Aaron Ekwere (190-G-2006) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's second-best Pantterit Helsinki and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 19-year old guard had a double-double of 29 points and 17 rebounds, while his team crushed BVBS (#31, 1-3) with 22-point margin 94-72. Pantterit is placed at 2nd position in EYBL U20. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Pantterit already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Ekwere had a remarkable 76.9% from 2-point range. He turned to be Pantterit's top player in his first season with the team. Ekwere has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 26.5ppg. Ekwere is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 12.0rpg) and averages solid 4.8spg and 62.5% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young guard Tobias Olde (190-G-2006) of Reinar Halliku Korvpallikool/Iisaku gumn. Olde impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 31 points and 13 rebounds. Of course Reinar Halliku cruised to a 87-76 relatively comfortable win over PuHu (0-4). The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Olde is a newcomer at Reinar Halliku and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Raivo Kudrjavcevs (188-G-2008) of Rigas Zelli (#11). Kudrjavcevs got into 30-points club by scoring 36 points in the last round. He went also for seven rebounds and eight assists. He was a key player of Rigas Z., leading his team to a 101-93 win against RHKK (#21, 2-2). Rigas Z. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 1 lost game. Kudrjavcevs has a great season in EYBL U20. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.0ppg (9th best) and assists with 7.0apg (3rd best).
