Nojus Vasikauskas claims EYBL U16 weekly honour

Nojus Vasikauskas (G) had a very impressive game in the last round for Crew BBall Napoli U16 team and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
The guard had the game-high 32 points adding four rebounds and eight assists for NABA in his team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team Sigulda (#66, 0-5) with 39-point margin 93-54. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Thanks to this victory Crew Napoli moved-up to the 65th position in EYBL U16. Crew Napoli is currently ranked second from the bottom. They need more victories to improve their 2-3 record. In the team's last game Vasikauskas had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be Crew Napoli's top player in his first season with the team. Nojus Vasikauskas averages this season 21.0ppg and 4.8apg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another NABA's star - Robert Ausejs. Ausejs impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds. Of course together with Vasikauskas he helped NABA Dublin U16 team with another comfortable win outscoring Sigulda (#66, 0-5) 93-54. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. NABA dropped in the standings to second-to-the-bottom (65th) position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-3 record. Ausejs is a newcomer at NABA and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was another NABA's star - Elliot Kristiansen. Kristiansen showcased his all-around game by recording 13 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the last round. He was another key player of NABA Dublin U16 team, helping his team with a 93-54 easy win against Sigulda (#66, 0-5). The chances of NABA ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 3 games, recording just two victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Kristiansen could help NABA to bring them higher in the standings. Kristiansen has a very solid season. In 5 games in EYBL U16 he scored 12.0ppg.
