Tsokov's 27 points and 9 assists give him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Boris Tsokov

15-year old Boris Tsokov (2010) had an amazing evening in the last round for BUBA Basketball Sofia U16 team and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
He had the game-high 27 points adding four rebounds and nine assists for BUBA in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Drillo (3-1) 84-83. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. BUBA is placed at 16th position in EYBL U16. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. BUBA will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. In the team's last game Tsokov had a remarkable 54.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be BUBA's top player in his first season with the team. Tsokov has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in assists (6th best: 5.8apg) and averages solid 5.0spg and 55.9% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Szymon Tomski (185-G-2010) of KING Wilki Morskie Szczecin U16 team. He is a guard in his first season at Szczecin. In the last game Tomski recorded an impressive double-double of 28 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Szczecin lost that game 61-97 to league's leader Prievidza (#8, 4-0). Szczecin managed to keep the same 58th spot in the standings. 7 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Szczecin managed to get this year. Tomski is a newcomer at Szczecin and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to Petar Ljuberski of league's leader BC Vodno Suns Partizan Skopje U16 team. Ljuberski scored 12 points and grabbed 16 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Vodno Suns, leading his team to a 129-60 easy win against the lower-ranked TEAM 6 (#46, 2-6). Vodno Suns confirms their top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 2 lost games. Ljuberski has a very solid season. In 4 games in EYBL U16 he scored 8.8ppg.
