Mouachi's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Saad Mouachi had an amazing evening in the last round for Hoopstarz Academy Zurich U17 team and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
He had a double-double of 40 points and 20 rebounds, while his team edged out EET (#38, 1-3) 84-80. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Hoopstarz Ac. is placed at 31th position in EYBL U17. Hoopstarz Ac. is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-2 record. In the team's last game Mouachi had a remarkable 78.6% from 2-point range. He turned to be Hoopstarz Ac.'s top player in his first season with the team. Mouachi has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 31.0ppg. Mouachi is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 14.8rpg) and averages solid 2.3bpg,4.3spg and 69.6% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Joseph Tala (198-F-2010) of Pantterit Helsinki. He is a forward in his first season at Drive Acad.. In the last game Tala recorded an impressive double-double of 26 points and 21 rebounds. Of course Pantterit cruised to a 93-84 relatively comfortable win over the higher-ranked DSN (#28, 2-2). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. But Pantterit managed to improve slightly their position in standings taking 35th place. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 1-1 record is not bad and everything may still change. Tala is a newcomer at Pantterit and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Viktor Prus (194-F-2009) of Oppsal Panthers Oslo U17 team (#4). Prus showcased his all-around game by recording 19 points, 22 rebounds (!!!) and 6 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Oppsal, leading his team to a 85-59 easy win against Cesis (#14, 0-4). Oppsal needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 1 lost games. Prus has a great season in EYBL U17. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 16.3rpg (2nd best).
