BBBL round 4 best performance: Gregor Kahrik (by Hoops Agents)

Gregor Kahrik had a great game in the last round for KK Viimsi U16 team, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The player was the main contributor (39 points, six rebounds and two assists) to his team's victory, helping them to crush DSN Riga (#4, 1-4) with 23-point margin 73-50. Thanks to this victory Viimsi moved-up to the 13th position in BBBL. Viimsi is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-5 record. In the team's last game Kahrik had a remarkable 77.8% from 2-point range and got seven three-pointers out of 9 attempts. It's his second year at Viimsi and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Gregor Kahrik averages this season 15.3ppg.

The second best player in last round's games was Ralfs Valenieks of Basketbola klase Riga 1 U16 team. Valenieks had a very good evening with a double-double of 24 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he led Bball klase-1 to another comfortable win outscoring the higher-ranked Bro's (#3, 1-4) 86-42. Despite this victory Bball klase-1 slide down in the standings to 11th position. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 6-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. Valenieks is a newcomer at Bball klase-1, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.9ppg (#2). He also registered 7.3 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Ruben Madisson of Rakvere Spordikool/Tarvas U16 team (#7). Madisson got into 30-points club by scoring 33 points in the last round. He was a key player of Rakvere, leading his team to a 70-49 easy win against the lower-ranked Liepaja (#29, 2-8). Rakvere is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 8-1 record is not that bad... Madisson has a great season in BBBL. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.8ppg (9th best) and assists with 2.9apg (8th best). He also has 4.1spg and a FGP of 51.9%.
