Tinnerholm's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

Alexander Tinnerholm put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Drillo Basketball Academy U16 team and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
He had a double-double of 27 points and 11 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team (#0, ) with 28-point margin 86-58. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Drillo maintains the 4th position in EYBL U16 . They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Drillo will need more victories to improve their 6-2 record. Tinnerholm turned to be Drillo's top player in his first season with the team. Alexander Tinnerholm averages this season 0ppg0rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Austis Juozaitis of Zalgiris Kaunas U16 team. He is a in his first season at Zalgiris. In the last game Juozaitis recorded an impressive 28 points and 8 rebounds. Of course Zalgiris cruised to a 71-62 relatively comfortable win over league's leader (#0, ). This victory allowed Zalgiris to move up to 25th position in the standings. A very good start of the season for his team, which won so far all 4 games without any defeat. Juozaitis is a newcomer at Zalgiris and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third place about best performers goes to Doruk Canpolat of BC Suadiye Istanbul U16 team (#39). Canpolat scored 19 points and grabbed 17 rebounds (!!!). Despite Canpolat's great performance the Suadiye lost 62-67 to the higher-ranked Fryshuset (#13, 5-3). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Suadiye not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 5 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Canpolat could try to bring Suadiye's a little bit higher in the standings. Canpolat has individually a great season in EYBL U16. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.1rpg (4th best). He also has 3.1spg and a FGP of 53.3%.
