EYBL U16 round 14 best performance: Eli Aggesjo

Eli Aggesjo had a great game in the last round for Drillo Basketball Academy U16 team, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 14.
The player was the main contributor (39 points, five rebounds and six assists) to his team's victory, helping them to outclass Suadiye (#39, 3-5) with 32-point margin 91-59. Drillo maintains the 4th position in EYBL U16 . They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Drillo will need more victories to improve their 6-2 record. In the team's last game Aggesjo had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He turned to be Drillo's top player in his first season with the team. Eli Aggesjo averages this season 22.5ppg and 5.5rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was Elliot Sperling of Fryshuset U16 team. Sperling had a very good evening with a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds. Of course he led Fryshuset to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Tolka Rovers (#75, 1-6) 82-61. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Fryshuset dropped in the standings to 13th position. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 5-3 record is not bad and everything may still change. Sperling is a newcomer at Fryshuset, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Mykolas Lauritenas of Zalgiris Kaunas U16 team (#25). Lauritenas scored 27 points and grabbed 15 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Zalgiris, leading his team to a 95-81 easy win against the higher-ranked BUBA (#11, 5-3). Zalgiris started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game. Lauritenas turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Lauritenas has a very solid season. In 4 games in EYBL U16 he scored 9.0ppg.

9. Mauro Schacht) of Falco Gent - 17 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists
10. PJ Hakvoort) of Almere P. - 17 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
