Boris Tsokov claims EYBL U16 weekly honour

Talented Boris Tsokov (2010) had a very impressive game in the last round for BUBA Basketball Sofia U16 team and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 15-year old had the game-high 32 points adding eight rebounds and eight assists for BUBA in his team's victory, helping them to beat Fryshuset (5-3) 90-82. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. BUBA maintains the 16th position in EYBL U16 . They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. BUBA will need more victories to improve their 5-3 record. In the team's last game Tsokov had a remarkable 85.7% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He turned to be BUBA's top player in his first season with the team. Tsokov has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in assists (2nd best: 6.0apg) and averages solid 4.9spg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Mateusz Murawski of Akademia Mlodych Dzikow Warszawa U16 team. Murawski impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds. Of course he led Dziki to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Istanbul (#26, 1-7) 79-42. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Dziki dropped in the standings to 15th position. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 6-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. Murawski is a newcomer at Dziki and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

The third best performed player last round was another BUBA's star - Marin Yoshovski. Yoshovski got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for five rebounds and seven assists. He was another key player of BUBA Basketball Sofia U16 team, helping his team with a 90-82 win against Fryshuset (5-3). BUBA needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 5 victories and 3 lost games. Yoshovski has a great season in EYBL U16. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 5.1apg (5th best). He also has 2.3spg and a FGP of 60.0%.

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
