Dimitrov's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

16-year old Kiril Dimitrov (2009) put on an amazing game in the last round for BUBA Basketball Sofia U17 team and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
He had a double-double of 40 points and 12 rebounds, while his team crushed Spartak (#13, 5-3) with 18-point margin 91-73. BUBA is placed at 5th position in EYBL U17. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. BUBA will need more victories to improve their 7-2 record. In the team's last game Dimitrov had a remarkable 76.9% from 2-point range and got six three-pointers out of 7 attempts. It's his second year at BUBA and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Dimitrov has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 23.0ppg) and averages solid 59.6% FGP and 45.8% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Hristo Vishev of BC Spartak Pleven U17 team. He is a in his first season at Spartak. In the last game Vishev recorded an impressive double-double of 25 points and 12 rebounds. Of course Spartak cruised to a 62-53 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Karlovka (#33, 3-5). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Spartak dropped in the standings to 13th position. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 5-3 record is not bad and everything may still change. Vishev is a newcomer at Spartak and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Leo Muller (193-F-2009) of UBSC-Juniors Graz U17 team (#22). Muller got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for ten rebounds . He was a key player of UBSC Graz, leading his team to a 85-62 easy win against the lower-ranked Goettingen (#65, 1-7). UBSC Graz needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 4 victories and 4 lost games. Muller has a very solid season. In 7 games in EYBL U17 he scored 14.7ppg. He also has 5.4rpg and a FGP of 52.2%.
