Ruben Madisson claims BBBL Hoops Agents weekly honour

Ruben Madisson had a very impressive game in the last round for league's leader Rakvere Spordikool/Tarvas U16 team and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
The had the game-high 17 points adding six rebounds and nine assists for Rakvere in his team's victory, helping them to beat Noo Spordikool (#18, 6-9) 64-58. It allowed Rakvere to consolidate first place in the BBBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Rakvere has a very solid 11-3 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Madisson had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range. He turned to be Rakvere's top player in his first season with the team. Madisson has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (6th best: 16.1ppg), assists (3rd best: 3.5apg) and averages solid 4.0spg and 51.2% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Aret Kivimae of Reinar Halliku Korvpallikool U20 team. Kivimae impressed basketball fans with 11 points and 9 rebounds. Of course he led RHKK to another comfortable win 56-42 over slightly lower-ranked Kesklinna (#6, 7-8) being unquestionably team leader. RHKK's 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 7-3 record is not bad and everything may still change. Kivimae is a newcomer at RHKK and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

The third best performed player last round was Artur Kuuba of Noo Spordikool 2010 SK U16 team (#18). Kuuba scored 13 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). Despite Kuuba's great performance the Noo Spordikool lost 58-64 to the higher-ranked Rakvere (#1, 11-3). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Noo Spordikool ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 9 games, recording just six victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Kuuba could help Noo Spordikool to bring them higher in the standings. Kuuba has a great season in BBBL. After 15 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.3rpg (#1 in league).

10. Trevor Rosenberg) of Kesklinna - 10 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
