First defeat of league's leader Latvian Basketbola Klase (7-1) against leader Lithuanian Zalgiris (8-0) 94-76 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Basketbola Klase. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Zalgiris trailed by 14 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 18 points. No shocking result in a game when 39th ranked Latvian BS Ogre (4-4) crushed bottom-ranked Lithuanian VKM (0-8) 102-58 on Thursday. Zalgiris trailed by 14 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 18 points.
