Rullis' 31-point game gives him Player of the Week award

14-year old swingman Henrijs Rullis (192-G/F-2011) had an amazing evening in the last round for BS Ogre U16 team and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 21.
He had the game-high 31 points adding seven rebounds and four assists for BS Ogre in his team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team VKM (#94, 0-8) with 44-point margin 102-58. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Thanks to this victory BS Ogre moved-up to the 45th position in EYBL U16. BS Ogre is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 4-4 record. In the team's last game Rullis had a remarkable 77.8% from 2-point range. It's his second year at BS Ogre and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Henrijs Rullis averages this season 16.0ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Robert Teetlaus (195-F/G-2010) of Viimsi U16 team. He is a swingman in his first season at Viimsi. In the last game Teetlaus recorded an impressive double-double of 12 points and 26 rebounds. Of course Viimsi cruised to a 89-77 relatively comfortable win over VKM (#94, 0-8). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. But Viimsi managed to improve slightly their position in standings taking 44th place. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 4-4 record is not bad and everything may still change. Teetlaus is a newcomer at Viimsi and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third place about best performers goes to Austis Juozaitis of league's leader Zalgiris Kaunas U16 team. Juozaitis showcased his all-around game by recording 27 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Zalgiris, leading his team to a 94-76 easy win against #2 ranked Basketbola Klase in a game of the week. Zalgiris have amazing season winning all 8 games without a single defeat. Juozaitis turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Juozaitis has a very solid season. In 8 games in EYBL U16 he scored 18.0ppg.
